Our Story
The Koch Family is passionate about hospitality and invite you to consider spending your vacation or extended stay at the Siesta Key Inn or its sister property the Siesta Palms by the Beach. Both properties are located in the same block on Point of Rocks Road on beautiful Siesta Key.
John and Magdalene Koch relocated from Chicago to Siesta Key in 1979, and have personally and passionately been renovating and improving the lodging options on the Island since that time. With their children, Michael and Mary Ann, they have built some of the Island’s most personal and comfortable vacation spots. Should you need something or have a special request during your stay, you will no doubt be helped with a smile by one of the family members.
Let the sweet smell of Plumeria greet you as you step into the charming paradise of their unique island accommodations. Along with the fully-equipped and tastefully decorated condominiums, they offer good olde fashioned hospitality. Siesta Key Inn is an intimate eight unit condominium complex which is operated with the ambiance of a family run Island Inn. It is located a short 3 minute stroll from the sugar white sands of Crescent Beach, recently named the Best Beach in America.
These units have just completed a total renovation including new kitchen cabinetry with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops. The bathrooms feature jetted whirlpool tub/shower combinations with fluffy towels and upscale toiletries. The accommodations incorporate 20” porcelain tile throughout with new furniture, flat screen TVs including High Definition DIRECTV and premium channels in living rooms and bedrooms.
The Siesta Key Inn offers daily towel exchange, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, a beach cooler, high speed Wi-Fi internet access, gas grills and laundry facilities. For a restful night’s sleep, they use only soft 400 thread count sheets with down pillows and comforters. The Koch’s strive for a higher standard of “Olde Florida” hospitality with a concierge touch. The Siesta Key Inn is within walking distance to South Siesta Village shops, restaurants, and night spots yet is very quiet and low-key. Additionally, it is only a short drive to golf courses, theaters, museums, art galleries and numerous other attractions.
