TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

OFFICE HOURS: Monday- Saturday 9:00AM – 5:00PM

MINIMUM CHECK-IN AGE: 25

Check-in 3:30PM – 5PM; Guests arriving after 5PM MUST call or email 24 hours or more in advance for special arrangements. Check-out time is 10:30AM.

No smoking except in outdoor areas. Evidence of smoking will be billed a $300 cleaning fee to the credit card on file.

Parking: Designated parking for each unit

The Siesta Key Inn does NOT accept pets, Spring Breakers, extra persons beyond the designated room capacity, or acquainted parties exceeding six guests without prior approval. For groups exceeding six, special arrangements must be made in advance (this encompasses group reservations, as well as those made individually). Each accommodation has a Maximum Occupancy. An adult, child or infant is counted as one “Person” in the Occupancy number. DEVIATIONS OR DECEPTIONS FROM THIS OCCUPANCY POLICY WILL VOID RESERVATION AND RESULT IN DENIAL OF RESERVATION AT CHECK-IN OR SHORTENED STAY, WITHOUT REFUND.

SIESTA KEY INN FACILITIES, INCLUDING THE COMMON AREAS (POOL, GARDENS & CARPORTS/PARKING), ARE RESERVED FOR THE EXCLUSIVE ENJOYMENT OF REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. Guests of the Siesta Key Inn are not at liberty to invite non-registered acquaintances to join them in these areas or overnight in their units.  Registered guests may ask for prior approval to have day-time visitors use the facilities. If approved, an additional $15 per day fee will be charged. The office reserves the right to refuse any visitor requests.
OUR RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY: “Advance Purchase” promotions and third party reservations such as Expedia, Hotels.com, VRBO, Airbnb, etc., are paid in full at the time of booking and are non-cancellable/non refundable/non-transferable.

For all others, a deposit equal to 30% of your stay (full stay charged at time of booking for reservations made within one week of arrival date) is billed to your credit card at the time of booking your accommodation. If you cancel your reservation for any reason, including transportation difficulties, we must receive 30 days advance notice of the scheduled arrival date in order to refund your deposit, less a handling & administrative charge of $150. Deposits on reservations made less than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date are non-refundable. Variations from confirmed reservation dates, such as late arrivals and early departures or no-show, will be charged at the posted daily rate including tax.
HURRICANE SEASON CANCELLATION POLICY – Effective June 1-November 30: We do not refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. If an evacuation order for our area is placed within 24 hours of your arrival date or during your visit, you will receive a voucher for a future stay equal to the unused portion of your stay/reservation, redeemable between June 1 and November 30 of the following year, excluding holidays and special events. If no evacuation order is in effect, but you choose not to use your reservation, our standard cancellation policy applies.
“IN SEASON” AND HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: During the months of January, February, March and April (“In Season”), we rent weekly (7-nights) only. Rentals run from either Saturday to Saturday or Friday to Friday according to each unit’s schedule. The 7-night minimum policy also applies to major holidays: Christmas/New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Thanksgiving.

Travel Insurance: We cannot be responsible for events affecting guests’ reservations outside of our control. We strongly encourage the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment! It covers you for a multitude of unforeseen travel difficulties (health and family issues, etc.), as well as weather-related events. Two good sources are: www.Squaremouth.com and www.Insuremytrip.com.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY: The guest in whose name the reservation is placed must be present at check-in. A photo ID and valid credit card(s) used to secure the reservation and balance due must be in the guest’s name and presented at check-in unless third-party authorization has been approved at the time of booking.

PRIVACY & SECURITY: Our property uses Authorize.net to provide online reservation services.

Privacy: Authorize.net respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. Your personal information is collected and stored to facilitate online reservations with our property. Basic information concerning your visit to this site is used by Authorize.net to improve its service. Authorize.net never sells or shares your personal information without your permission.

Security: Authorize.net uses industry-standard encryption to protect your personal and payment information during and after your reservation. After your reservation is complete, the system removes your credit card information to prevent theft or disclosure. Authorize.net meets or exceeds rigorous industry standards for protecting credit card information and is PCI compliant. This PCI compliance has been verified by an external auditor.

Full payment is due upon arrival. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to our guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. There is a $25.00 charge for each lost key set.
