The Travel Channel ranked Siesta Key’s Crescent Beach among the top beaches in the U.S., and Harvard University’s Geology Department found that the sand was 99 percent pure quartz. Even on the hottest of days, the silky soft white sand of Crescent Beach never gets hot! It is so cool!

     Go swimming in the crystal blue Gulf of Mexico or snorkel along lime rock formations at Point of Rocks. Build a sand castle or just sit on the beach sinking your toes into the soft sand while watching a playful dolphin swim past you.
